One of the College of Health Sciences priorities is contributing cutting edge research, scholarship and thought leadership in health science that improves public health and well-being. WCU's annual Research and Creative Activity Day showcases excellence in academic inquiry from across the institution. Department of Public Health Sciences students Daniel Engelbrecht, Victor Nwinee, and Jess Hampton along with their mentor, Dr. Lorenzo Cena Associate Professor, Environmental Health received second place for best oral presentation at the WCU Research and Creative Activity Day event. Nearly 150 students and faculty participated in this event, congratulations to them and all the participants!
